St Cadfan first founded a Church in Tywyn in about 516 AD.

This has given the area a rich spiritual heritage which has continued in ebbs and flows.

Tywyn has traditionally been a place of rest and restoration.  A place of repose and rejuvenation. 

Over the centuries weary people in need of rest and healing have come to Tywyn and found strength and encouragement before moving on to their next destination in life.
